About Mr Edmund Fitzgerald O'Connor

Mr Edmund Fitzgerald O'Connor is one of only a handful of consultants in London employed at 2 university NHS teaching hospitals.

At King’s College Hospital, the leading major trauma centre in the country, Mr Fitzgerald O'Connor specialises in complex trauma reconstruction as part of the orthoplastic team. At Guy's & St Thomas’ Hospital as part of the world-renowned plastic surgery department, he focuses on complex revisional reconstructive surgery for both upper and lower limb, breast cancer and a broad range of general plastics surgery cases.

Mr Fitzgerald O’Connor also holds a substantive Senior Clinical Lecturer position at Queen Mary’s University of London. He is the course lead for the Masters programme in Reconstructive Microsurgery as well as faculty for the M.Sc in Aesthetic Medicine.
