About Dr Voi Shim Wong
Dr Voi Shim Wong is a full time Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist as well as being an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the Whittington Hospital, London.
Having qualified from St Andrew's University / Victoria University of Manchester in 1987, Dr Wong received his comprehensive medical, gastroenterological and hepatological training in Manchester, Leeds, Cambridge and Liverpool.
He is fully trained in all aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr Wong believes a holistic and multidisciplinary team approach is the key to effective clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients with gastroenterological conditions particularly those with complex problems. As well as accessibility and prompt communication with patients, relatives and their general practitioners being important aspects in their management.
