About Professor Simon Redwood
Prof Simon Redwood qualified from St. George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1987. He trained in Cardiology at The Royal London Hospital, The Royal Free Hospital and St. George’s Hospital, London. Interventional training was obtained at The Washington Cardiology Center, Washington, DC and Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals.
Prof Redwood is Professor of Interventional Cardiology/ Honorary Consultant Cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Catheter labs at St. Thomas’. He was President of the BCIS from 2012-1016. He has been performing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for over 20 years and is trained in all aspects of adult interventional cardiology as well as transcatheter valve procedures.
