About Mr Marc Laniado

Mr Marc Laniado is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in prostate health. He offers clear diagnosis, balanced advice and the full range of treatments for prostate cancer and enlarged prostate (BPH).

For carefully selected men with localised prostate cancer, Marc provides organ‑sparing focal therapy—high‑intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) and NanoKnife—to target the tumour while protecting healthy tissue where safe. When surgery is the best option, he performs robotic (robot‑assisted) radical prostatectomy using techniques designed to protect continence and erections, including Retzius‑sparing and nerve‑sparing with NeuroSAFE. He also uses CUP (Complete Urethral Preservation) during robotic prostatectomy—preserving more of the urethra, where it is oncologically safe—to help maintain urinary control after surgery.

For bothersome urinary symptoms due to BPH, Marc offers durable, evidence‑based treatments tailored to prostate size and goals, including holmium laser enucleation (HoLEP) and Aquablation.

Marc practises shared decision‑making. He explains what the evidence supports—and where uncertainties remain—so you can choose the option that fits your priorities. His aim is effective treatment with the best possible quality of life.
