About Dr Charlotte Cowie
Dr Charlotte Cowie is a Specialist in Sport and Exercise Medicine with over 30 years’ experience treating sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions in people of all activity levels, from everyday patients to elite athletes. She specialises in helping individuals manage and recover from issues such as back, knee and joint pain, sports-related injuries, and overuse conditions with a focus on keeping people active, mobile and well.
Throughout her distinguished career, Dr Cowie has worked across elite and professional sport, including supporting Team GB at four Olympic Games, serving as Chief Medical Officer for the Football Association, and holding Premier League roles with Fulham Football Club and Tottenham Hotspur. She also served as Chief Medical Officer for Team GB at the Paris Olympic Games and has worked with the British Olympic Association.
Dr Cowie combines this extensive elite sport experience with a strong focus on everyday musculoskeletal care, ensuring patients receive expert, personalised treatment tailored to their goals, whether returning to daily activity, exercise or sport.
