About Dr Santiago Catania

Dr Santiago Catania trained at the University of the Basque Country (Spain) and moved to the UK for his post-graduate education.

Dr Catania trained as a clinical neurophysiologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queen Square, where he has been a consultant since 2006. He is proficient in a wide range of electrophysiology examinations to diagnose carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy, peripheral neuropathies, radiculopathies and other neuromuscular disorders.

Dr Catania is interested in the treatment of complex neurological disorders with electromyographically (EMG) guided botulinum toxin injections and he established a clinic for the treatment of complex cranio-cervical dystonia at NHNN over 15 years ago.
