Biography & Education

About Professor Paresh Malhotra

Professor Paresh Malhotra is the Head of the Division of Neurology at Imperial College London & Honorary Consultant Neurologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT).

After studying medicine at Oxford Professor Malhotra carried out specialist training in Neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (Queen Square) and ICHT. Following a Cognitive Neurology fellowship in Sydney he was awarded a clinical/academic Consultant post at Imperial in 2011.

He runs a research programme alongside clinical work focussing on disorders of memory and thinking. He sits on several national dementia committees, and has expertise in diagnosis of memory and cognitive disorders as well as the development of new treatments.
