About Mr Vanash Patel
Mr Vanash Patel is a Consultant General Surgeon with a specialist interest in colorectal surgery, practising across London and Hertfordshire. He is committed to providing high-quality, personalised care, ensuring that patients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their treatment journey.
He is an NHS Consultant at Watford General Hospital, part of West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, a centre recognised nationally for excellence in bowel cancer care. Alongside his NHS role, Mr Patel sees patients privately, offering timely access to specialist assessment and modern surgical care.
Mr Patel treats a broad range of colorectal and general surgical conditions, including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease and hernia. He strongly believes in shared decision-making and works closely with patients to develop individualised treatment plans tailored to their clinical needs and personal priorities.
A key focus of Mr Patel’s practice is the use of digital and technology-enabled pathways to improve outcomes and recovery.
