About Dr Kate Bramham
Dr Kate Bramham trained at Oxford University and University College London, and was awarded a PhD from King's College London. She is a Consultant Nephrologist at King’s College Hospital and has a joint academic post as Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Centre of Nephrology, Urology and Transplantation, King's College London.
Dr Bramham has many national positions including Co-Lead for the UK Rare Renal Diseases Registry, academic lead for the UK Renal Disease in Pregnancy group, Chair of the UK Kidney Week program committee and is a member of the International Society of Nephrology. She has authored numerous original manuscripts and book chapters, and given many international lectures.
Dr Bramham has extensive experience in post operative acute kidney injury, optimisation of chronic kidney disease and long term dialysis. Her specialist interests include pre-pregnancy and antenatal care, mental health of kidney patients and kidney disease in people of African ancestry.
