Biography & Education

About Mr Ahmed Toma

Mr Ahmed Toma graduated from medical school with distinction and went on to pursue clinical neurosurgical training at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queen Square, University College London Hospital (UCLH) Foundation Trust. Mr Toma was appointed as a consultant neurosurgeon here in 2014. Mr Toma was also awarded an MD (Res.) postgraduate degree from St George’s University of London in adult hydrocephalus in 2012.

Mr Toma is one of the few vascular neurosurgeons in the U.K. who is dual trained in both endovascular and open surgical neurovascular techniques, having completed a one year interventional neuroradiology fellowship at Queen Square.
