About Dr Christopher (Nick) Sawyer
Dr Nick Sawyer trained in London teaching hospitals as a physician specialising in kidney disease, but moved to General Practice and Occupational Medicine in 1988.
Dr Sawyer worked in Wimpole Street where he developed a large practice of private patients. He also undertook executive, employment and occupational health medicals, on behalf of a number of global corporations, in the civil engineering and petrochemical fields and also financial services. He is interested in kidney disease, calcium metabolism and hypertension.
Dr Sawyer enjoys diagnostic challenges and ensuring the best patient referral pathways to top consultants with whom he collaborates closely. He helps patients understand their conditions and acts as their advocate in management decision making.
