About Mr Hussain Alnajjar
Mr Hussain Alnajjar is a highly specialised Consultant Urological and Andrological Surgeon based in central London and an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London (UCL). With over 20 years of experience, he is internationally recognised for his expertise in penile prosthesis surgery, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, male infertility, priapism, male hypogonadism, and male genital cancers.
His practice focuses on complex penile prosthesis implantation, genital reconstruction, male genital cancer surgery (penile and testicular), microsurgical sperm extraction, vasectomy and vasectomy reversal, alongside management of general urological conditions.
Mr Alnajjar completed his medical training at the University of St Andrews and University College London, followed by a Master’s degree in Urology from the University of Edinburgh with distinction. He undertook higher urology training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, and completed an advanced fellowship in surgical andrology and genitourethral oncology at University College London Hospitals. He holds dual fellowship accreditation from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the European Board of Urology.
An accomplished academic, Mr Alnajjar has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and more than 20 book chapters, including contributions to the Oxford Handbook of Urology, and has co-edited two major textbooks in andrology. He is an MRCS examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a former European Board of Urology examiner.
He has received multiple awards for clinical excellence and was recently designated a Coloplast Centre of Clinical Excellence, recognising him as one of the highest-volume penile prosthesis surgeons in the UK.
