Dr Woolf adopts a holistic and empathic approach, ensuring that patients are actively involved in their treatment decisions.
Dr Woolf graduated with distinction from the University of Bristol in 2006. Following his general medical training, he pursued an academic pathway in dermatology at the St John’s Institute, completing a prestigious MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship and an NIHR Academic Clinical Lectureship. In 2015, he was awarded a PhD in skin immunobiology from King’s College London, focusing on the immune system of the skin.
He became an NHS Consultant Dermatologist at the St John’s Institute in 2018, and was appointed Clinical Lead for medical dermatology in 2021 and Joint Service Lead of the Institute in 2023.
