About Dr Ivilina Pandeva
Dr Ivilina Pandeva is a Consultant Subspecialist Urogynecologist and Robotic Pelvic Floor Reconstructive Surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK’s leading tertiary centres for complex pelvic floor dysfunction. She provides comprehensive management for women with primary and recurrent pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and pelvic floor disorders with expertise in both vaginal and robotic or minimal access techniques as well as native autologous tissue and mesh-free solutions for both prolapse and urinary incontinence. This includes autologous fascial sling procedures, robotic colposuspension and native tissue apical support procedures, ensuring women who prefer or require non-mesh options have access to reliable reconstructive outcomes. In addition to her busy clinical role, Dr Pandeva has a strong academic and educational profile. She chairs the Workshops committee of the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) and the Meetings Committee of the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG), leading international surgical workshops, symposia, and surgical masterclasses in vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic pelvic floor reconstruction. Dr Pandeva is also engaged in global health initiatives, leading quality improvement projects in maternal pelvic floor health and birth trauma related fistula prevention in low resource settings. Her professional philosophy centres on combining technical precision, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care to restore function and confidence for women with pelvic floor disorders.
