Biography & Education
About Dr Jonathan Landy
Dr Jonathan Landy graduated from the University of Birmingham and completed his specialist training in Northwest London. He was awarded a PhD from Imperial College undertaking a research fellowship at St Mark's Hospital, investigating gut microbiota and immune system interactions with a focus on patients with pouchitis.
Dr Landy ran the first U.K. pilot study of faecal microbiota transplant in IBD. He undertook an advanced endoscopy fellowship at St Mark’s Hospital prior to his consultant appointment in 2016 and is an accredited national bowel screening colonoscopist.
He grew up and continues to live in North London with his young family. He is an avid cyclist and footballer, fanatical rugby fan and a voracious consumer of science fiction novels.
