Biography & Education
About Mr Jon Simmons
Mr Jon Simmons trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital qualifying in 1997 and has been a consultant plastic surgeon at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust since 2011. His clinical interests include hand surgery and trauma and reconstruction to the upper and lower extremity. He commonly works with other teams where a patients problem spans several specialities, to optimise outcomes. He has been the Training Program Director for London Plastic Surgery since 2014. Mr Simmons ethos is to provide the level of time in clinic and theatre that a patient needs. Some problems may be complex and require more time. He is a strong advocate for ensuring a good doctor patient relationship from the outset. He is married with four children and enjoys DIY, sailing, fishing and skiing.
