About Dr James Teo
Dr James Teo is a Consultant Neurologist with an interest in stroke and Parkinson’s Disease. He began his undergraduate medical training at University of Oxford and Royal Free Medical School.
Dr Teo also holds a PhD in Clinical Neurology at the UCL Institute of Neurology, Queen Square. He has written more than 50 peer-reviewed academic papers on topics ranging from Parkinson’s Disease to stroke, with a Michael J Fox Parkinson's Data Challenge award. He has led the first U.K. trial on wearable patches for stroke prevention (EPACS) and is a Director for Data Science and Health AI at Kings College Hospital and Guys & St Thomas Hospitals. His work with Cogstack was awarded an NHSX award and was named in Parliament as a NHS flagship technology.
