About Dr Francesca Pugliese
Dr Francesca Pugliese qualified in 2000 from Medical School of University of Genoa; she then went on to complete her clinical training in imaging, completing her specialty training in 2004. Dr Pugliese furthered her subspecialty training in Sweden, the Netherlands and the U.K., receiving her PhD with honours in 2008 from the Thoraxcentre/Erasmus MC University Medical Centre Rotterdam.
Dr Pugliese is an experienced practitioner of coronary and cardiac computed tomography (cardiac CT) in adult patients. She has lectured on many topics related to non-invasive cardiac imaging in a range of heart conditions.
Dr Pugliese reads more than 2,000 cardiac CT diagnostic tests per year, and has interpreted more than 15,000 procedures during her career.
