Biography & Education

About Professor Thomas Krieg

I am a Professor in Experimental Cardiovascular Medicine at the University in Cambridge and a Consultant in Acute Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology at Addenbrookes Hospital.

My training I received mainly in Freiburg, Germany, and since 15 years I practice in Cambridge.

My clinical and research interest are around many aspects of cardiovascular disease, mainly hypertension and acute heart attack.

I also have a huge interest in lifestyle changes, in particular exercise, necessary to reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications.
