About Dr Arup Sen

Dr Arup Sen is a consultant physician based in London, with triple accreditation in Geriatric, Stroke and General Medicine. Dr Sen adopts a holistic, patient-centered approach, tailoring his consultations to meet the unique needs and values of the individual. He is dedicated to empowering his patients, involving them in every step of their treatment to optimise their health and well-being.

At Cleveland Clinic London, Dr Sen is a consultant physician on the Acute Admissions Unit.

Within his NHS role, Dr Sen contributes his expertise to the Geriatric Medicine department at University College Hospital, which is a leading London teaching hospital affiliated with University College London (UCL). Additionally, he consults within the comprehensive stroke service at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square.

Dr. Sen earned his medical degree with distinction from St George’s University of London, alongside an intercalated BSc (Honours) in Medical Sciences from UCL. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and has extensive clinical experience.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Sen is committed to advancing medical care through research and innovation. He has presented his work at international conferences and published extensively in reputable medical journals. His passion for delivering exceptional, cutting-edge patient care is further demonstrated by his completion of a digital Health Tech fellowship. Dr Sen holds leadership roles in quality improvement and clinical governance at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and is actively involved in the education and training of UCL medical students.
