About Dr Peter Hill
Dr Peter Hill is a Consultant Nephrologist with a general and specialist NHS practice based between The Hammersmith Hospital, The Charing Cross Hospital and The Royal Marsden Hospital in London. He trained at University College London where he qualified with distinction. His clinical training in renal and internal medicine was based in Oxford. He met Professor Patrick Maxwell during this time and carried out research as a Wellcome Trust Clinical Fellow at Imperial College London into how oxygen affects the kidney.
Dr Hill is a caring clinician with over 20 years of experience in nephrology and medicine. He has an expertise in hypertension, acute kidney injury, chronic renal disease, dialysis and genetic causes of renal disease, such as polycystic kidneys and hereditary renal cancer syndromes and supports patients with renal disease who develop cancer.
He is expert in placing dialysis lines and performing renal biopsies.
