About Dr Christopher Roughley
Dr Roughley prides himself as a General Practitioner with excellence in true holistic care, founded in evidence based medicine but with a keen understanding of the individual.
Dr Roughley attended Warwick University for a Bachelors degree in Medical Microbiology and Virology before embarking on his medical degree, also at Warwick University.
Dr Roughley has been cultivating a specialist interest in Palliative Care, working within the hospice sector for much of his life as a qualified GP. He has lead on Palliative Care for his NHS practice and has been involved in local CCG end of life care transformation work. Caring for a person at their most vulnerable time requires finesse and great compassion.
Dr Roughley also runs NHS minor surgery clinics and is soon to expand to joint injections. Dr Roughley is a qualified acupuncturist (Western style). This highlights his drive to meet the needs of his patients, explore all treatment options and individualise his medicine.
As a father, husband and doctor he understands how to navigate complex and demanding lives. He still finds time to enjoy good food, theatre and family time. He looks forward to sharing and supporting your journey through life.
