About Dr Umasuthan Srirangalingam
Dr Umasuthan Srirangalingam is a Consultant Physician in Endocrinology and Diabetes. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1999 and completed specialist training in Endocrinology and Diabetes at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London.
In 2012 Dr Srirangalingam was awarded a PhD for work on novel hormonal drug therapies and went on to gain an NIHR Clinical Lectureship developing an interest in adrenal disease and hormonal tumours. He manages patients with all aspects of endocrine, diabetes and lipid disorders.
Dr Srirangalingam'S NHS practice is based at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) where he leads the clinical service for congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), male hypogonadism and infertility and Klinefelter syndrome.
Dr Srirangalingam has a strong track record of innovating services to provide patient-focused, multidisciplinary care. He is actively involved in clinical trials and research and has published extensively. He is a keen educator and has been recognised with a 'Top Teacher' award at UCL.
